Mandy Rades, BCBA

Co-Founder & Director of Clinical Services

Mandy has over 20 years of experience in the field of ABA and has been a BCBA for more than a decade. She is currently pursuing her PhD with a focus on advancing research in Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACTr) and innovative staff training methods. Her passion lies in bridging the gap between research and practice, ensuring that every client receives therapy grounded in evidence, while empowering staff with meaningful training and support. At Threaded Roots, Mandy leads with a vision of compassionate, effective, and values-driven care for families and their children.

Megan Stokes, RBT

Senior Therapist

Megan is a Registered Behavior Technician at Threaded Roots ABA Collective. Megan graduated in 2018 from the University of Missouri–Kansas City with a BA in psychology and is currently pursuing her master’s in behavior analysis at the Florida Institute of Technology. With over five years of experience in ABA, Megan brings both knowledge and compassion to her work, making her an invaluable part of the team. Outside of work, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and spending time outdoors. Megan also loves exploring new places, sharing laughs with friends, and is always up for a good adventure.

Brandon Ross, RBT

Registered Behavior Technician

Brandon has over two years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). He brings a unique background as an ESL instructor for young learners and has extensive knowledge in speech development and language acquisition. Brandon is currently pursuing board certification in behavior analysis while supporting clients through individualized interventions. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time in the mountains, chasing fresh powder, and planning his next summit.

Nastassja Valdez, RBT

Registered Behavior Technician

Nastassja has over four years of experience supporting individuals through compassionate, evidence-based practices. She is married and a proud dog mom to a lively 3-year-old Rottweiler named Maisy. Outside of work, Nastassja enjoys painting, bowling, trying new foods, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Alexandria (Allie) Carjabal, RBT

Registered Behavior Technician

Allie has four years of experience in the field and is currently completing coursework to become a BCBA. Passionate about supporting children with autism, especially those with high-magnitude needs, she finds purpose in helping them grow and thrive. A Colorado native, she loves spending time in the mountains and writing in her free time, which keeps her grounded and inspired.

Sarah Pedersen, RBT

Registered Behavior Technician

Sarah has over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families in the behavioral health field. She has called Colorado home for the past eight years. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys crafting, snowboarding, and listening to music. She is passionate about making a positive impact and brings patience, empathy, and creativity into all that she does.

Kayla Sweeny, RBT

Registered Behavior Technician

Kayla is a Registered Behavior Technician dedicated to providing evidence-based ABA services to individuals on the autism spectrum. Her approach is grounded in patience, collaboration, and a commitment to compassionate, individualized, and culturally sensitive care. Kayla earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan in 2024. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, painting, gardening, and playing pickleball.
